So this whole taking it easy idea didn't work out so well. Literally within minutes of me coming home Monday I got a call from one of my clients asking if i'd seen the emails from the weekend. I managed to put him off 24 hours but had to finish the work Tuesday morning. Thursday morning i had a call with a Seattle company that seems eager to have me consult for them even though i told them i'll be tied up at least two months and possibly more. I'll be tied up with the company i saw last Thursday - i have 8 weeks full-time lined up with them. Thursday afternoon i spent 3 hours gathering information for that project and told them i'd draft a doc by next week. In the meanwhile, Seattle wants me to do two more phone interviews and i just accepted a new project from my Monday phonecall client. Wtf am i nuts? I need the money, though. Aside from regular bills, my healthcare expenses just doubled and i want to buy some music gear and get my license finally. And some other stuff. I went to two classes today, coached one, coaching tomorrow too. Hello everyone meet Number 3, not the delusional one, not the dissociated one, just the busy one. I get the afternoons.
