Of all the bands/artists in your cd/record collection, which one do you own the most albums by?
Probably NIN still.
What was the last song you listened to (voluntarily)?
Pete Bellotte "Push It to the Limit".
What's on your record player right now?
Records are for losers. Like DJs. But CD-wise it'd be a Kim Wilde compilation.
What song would you say sums you up?
Depends on the day... Lately, and often, Soft Cell "Frustration".
What's your favorite local band?
I barely know any. That Savage Garden dude put out a pretty nifty song the other day - "Popular".
What was the last show you attended?
What was the greatest show you've ever been to?
Most of you know, Ice-T rocked the fuckin house. Also Osdorp yo.
What's the shittiest band you've ever seen in concert?
Korn kinda annoyed me in 96 by destroying my eardrums.
What band do you love musically but hate the members of?
Hell knows. Probably some whiney political bitches. Cat Stevens?
What is the most musically involved you have ever been?
*sigh* Once upon a time i could've been a rock star. Or techno star. Or something.
What show are you looking forward to?
I'm kinda over shows... Too many children and people not dancing and stuff. There are very, very few bands i'd pay to see. I might see Lab 4 if they came again, but they'd play at a rave, which is a whole nother thing. Freaky people with synthesizers and fire breathers kick ass.
What is your favorite band shirt?
I only have one and it's actually T's. But it makes me happy - Siouxsie.
What musician would you like to hang out with for a day?
John Carpenter so we could geek out about movies at the same time.
What musician would you like to hump for a day?
There are plenty of pretty musicians out there, but my libido is so dead right now i'd rather sleep all day.
Sabbath or solo Ozzy?
Fuck the both of them. Deep Purple yo.
Commodores or solo Lionel Richie?
Errr. Yeah. Seriously, what the fuck.
What was the greatest decade for music?
Depends on the style of music. The 80s was cool, but it had no techno. How about the 20th century?
How many music-related videos/dvds do you own?
What is your favorite movie soundtrack?
Good question. "Ghosts of Mars" is just fucking great hardcore cool. But "Crossroads" had some good funky bluesy shit. "Escape from New York" had some classics, as did "Midnight Express", and of course "Scarface" (in my car stereo at the moment). Not to mention all the good stuff you can't find on CD ("Big Trouble in Little China" would make me a happy camper). "Hackers" was good, but you can get all the songs on separate albums so not worth buying. Yeah. Movie soundtracks cool. Like fucking techno synth noodles and shit.
What's the crappiest CD/record/etc you've ever bought?
I don't remember. I sell the crappiest ones. And the averagest ones. And even some of the good ones and then buy them again five years later.
Do you prefer vinyl or CDs?
All totalled, how much do you spend on music in a month?
These days, just about nothing. Maybe one CD a month on average? I tend to binge and spend $100 in one day and then do nothing for 6 months.
And stuff. I went to work today because aspirin kicks ass. Now i'm tired.
