Finally!!!

Finally our premier has done something productive... We're going to get 24 hour public transport on the weekends!!! http://statements.cabinet.qld.gov.au/cgi-bin/display-statement.pl?id=8412&db=media If this works out and gets rid of those 45 minute lines at the cab ranks, gets rid of the people sleeping at the train station waiting for the first train, gets rid of all the fights that happen because people are cranky that they're stuck in the cab rank or sleeping at the train station... maybe that fucking 3am lockout will be rolled back too. We can only hope. This is Beattie's only chance for redemption in my eyes. My God, the thought of actually getting home 10 minutes after i leave the club is making me feel all warm and fluffy already. Course by the time it's implemented i probably will've moved back to the inner city anyway, but still.
